Metagenics Folate is a highly absorbable folate. Folate features L-5-methyl tetrahydrofolate, the biologically active, “body-ready” form of folate.

FolaPro® 60 Tablets has had a reformulation. The name has now changed to Folate. The level of folate has reduced to 400mcg (previously 800mcg), which allows it to be taken alongside a multivitamin that already contains folate for those that require extra. 25mcg of vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin has been added and vitamin D has been removed. It is now suitable for vegans. Bamboo extract was added to aid the manufacture of the tablet.
- High strength - provides 400mcg folate as 5-MTHF per tablet.
- 5-MTHF is the biologically active, 'body-ready' form of folic acid.
- 5-MTHF is stable and provides all the same health benefits of folic acid.
- Requires no additional metabolic steps to be utilised by the body.
- Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
- Folate contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- Provides 25mcg vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin – both nutrients work together to support cell division and normal red blood cell formation.
- Folate contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
- Can be taken safely alongside a multivitamin that already contains folate, for those who have higher folate requirements.
